(thanks a lot RO!) hehe Nah, but to answer your lovely question, hmmm I sometimes judge a book by its cover only to find later that a certain blogger I respect/admire has rated it and LOVED it, which makes me take a second look at the book that I may have passed up had I not read the review. (I don't do this anymore because I've learned my lesson) Even though there's some readers that still do it which is why its's important to make sure the cover is appealing and things. ;) Lovely, awesome post (that also made me hungry but I'm still watching what I eat so... Years ago when I have sooooo many, I ended up giving a lot away, but I've been finding lately that I've wanted to reconnect with old friends so they were back on my shelf. If it still holds my interest then I will probably buy it and take it home. I buy many of my books at thrift stores, garage sales and used book stores, so I feel it's worth a couple dollars if the book turns out to be a keeper. If I am truly sorry that I bought it, I will donate it back to a thrift store. As they say "you can't judge a book by its cover" but that doesn't stop me from picking it up to browse through its pages :)

HugsJFMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09021461504951465311noreply@blogger.com
