Are you a fan of pancakes?  I can never quite get them right at home, but IHOP sure knows how to prepare the perfect flapjack. Take advantage of their National Pancake Day on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 7am - 7pm,  and snag a FREE Buttermilk Shortstack!

HOMEMADE CHERRY LIMEADE
Years ago, I visited Sonic and fell in love with their Cherry Limeade.  Now I make my own with Simply Limeade, lemon juice, and slices of lime. I add tart cherries from a can that are unsweetened, and have been packed in water.  Some people mix Maraschino cherries with Ginger Ale or Sprite, or add sugar for a more sweet taste. Others add vodka for an extra kick!

Whichever you prefer will definitely be yummy!

  2. I love pancakes. I make them at home but the best box mix I've ever tried is Aunt Jemima complete buttermilk mix. You just add water. If you want to make them at home, that's the best mix.

  3. I love pancakes! I had bad luck with them until I tried the Pioneer Woman's Edna Mae's Pancake recipe and it's crazy good. The recipe is really weird but trust me it works. I love the sound of your Cherry Limemade! I feel a grocery store run coming up for the ingredients!

    1. No matter how yummy they are, and IHOP has great ones, I can never eat more than one for some strange reason. (lol) I love the Pioneer Woman, so I'm gonna have to check that one out. Thanks for that tip, Katherine! Hugs...

    1. I couldn't believe that this trip is actually worth that, but with first class plane tickets and hotels, along with all the other amenities in Jamaica and Florida, I had to enter. Can you imagine the pics I could put on the blog if I won?
