Pumpkin spice seems to be showing up everywhere - pies, coffee, hot sauce, cupcakes, cheesecake and everywhere else. I can't say that I'm a fan, but if you are, be sure look for this treat in Walmart or at www.Spam.com. Inquiring minds just wanna know ,what's left to add pumpkin spice to?(lol)

Even though she took a 15 year musical break due to Lyme disease, and the damage of her vocal cords, Canadian born introvert Shania Twain is still the top selling female country music star of all time, and worth a whopping 400 million dollars. Celine Dion may be the number one selling singer in Canada, but she's followed by none other than the Queen of Country Pop, Shania Twain.

Nice giveaway! That chicken stuffed tomato recipe really looks so good! You know, I've never been a fan of Celine, I don't like that chipmunky type of girl singing lol plus she talked badly of the English back in the days when she was only known here in french Quebec so boo on her...Shania though, I liked her stuff! I remember seeing an interview with her years ago and her poor voice...
ReplyDeleteThanks Rain! I actually tried the tomato recipe using tuna, and loved it. OMG - you're the only person I know who would admit to NOT liking Celine(lol) As a music fan, I like them both, but in different ways. I remember when Shania's hubby cheated on her years ago with her friend, years ago, and she was pretty devastated. then it was a strange irony that she ended up marrying the husband of the friend who cheated with her hubby! Hope you're doing okay! Hugs, RO

Hmm bucket list. Ya know, I don't have a bucket list. I've actually tried thinking of something that I would add to one but I can't think of anything I want to try to do.
ReplyDeleteYou'll come up with one soon, Mary! (lol) Hugs, RO
DeleteMy husband likes Spam, but says under no circumstances will he try Pumpkin Spice Spam. lol.. I love Shania Twain's music!
ReplyDeleteI may eat it once a year, but I'm with your hubby, and will not partake of spam with pumpkin spice either.(lol) Love Shania too! I haven't had a chance to chat, but I sure hope things are going well for you these days. Hugs, RO

ReplyDeleteNot a bad choice at all Debra (lol) Hugs, RO
DeleteI honestly don't mind SPAM...the food one. But I draw the line at pumpkin spice unless it's in a pumpkin pie :)
ReplyDeleteLove that chicken salad stuffed tomato...yummm!!!
Shania Twain is okay but I prefer Celine Dion songs.
Happy 13th anniversary Lauren~
Big Hugs RO

I can't even do pumpkin pie Joyful Jan.(lol) It's just something about the flavor I can't get with. I used the recipe with tuna and loved it. As a music fan, I have to say that I enjoy the music of both ladies. Hope things are well in your world! Hugs, RO
DeleteThat is a cool giveaway. That pumpkin spice ham sounds good if you need to hack up a hairball, yuck!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun sense of humor!(lol)
DeleteHappy birthday Ro and happy 13th anniversary Lauren! I'm not a big pumpkin spice fan but I love the ciders that often come out in fall. Hard pass on the spam! Though to be honest I've never had spam so maybe it's the best thing ever?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the birthday wishes, Kool Katherine, and I hope you're feeling pain-free today. I agree and definitely prefer the ciders for sure. I eat Spam once a year, but no way am I adding any type of pumpkin spice to it!(lol) Hugs, RO
DeleteThanks so much for hosting a giveaway for my blogoversary! I really appreciate it. :-)
ReplyDeleteOoh, I've always loved Shania Twain. It would be awesome to see her live someday. And how fun that you can enter a giveaway to travel somewhere with your dog. I love it!

Lauren, you are just so wonderful! The fact that you've been doing this for 12 years is pretty amazing, and to give us all gifts as you celebrate is just too kind. Shania is so talented for sure. That's my kind of contest for sure! Hugs and Happy Sunday! Thanks again for everything!
DeleteI like pumpkin spice- to a point- but Spam? Argh lol.
ReplyDeleteHope you had an amazing birthday! Happy Friday ravishing Ro!!!
I just say "No" to anything pumpkin related unless I can add it to my Planner, Gorgeous Greg(lol) Hope your Sunday is going well! Hugs, RO

ReplyDeleteThanks a bunch for stopping by Nancy! Hugs, RO

ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you Blodeuedd. Very scary for sure! Hugs, RO
DeleteReally, Halloween candy two and a half months before Halloween? Wouldn't candy go bad in that time? Oh, of course, it will be bought in a spirit of virtuous generosity to future trick-or-treaters and then devoured by the buyer in the interim, requiring the purchase of fresh supplies for the holiday itself. Retailers are fiendish.
ReplyDeleteAs to what will next be defiled with pumpkin spice, I fear it may be tea. We already have herbal tea and echinacea tea and lemon tea and oolong tea and dandelion tea and duck-billed platypus tea -- the list of abominations is endless, to say nothing of that radioactive green stuff the Chinese insist is tea. Well, I'm not having any of it. Only proper British tea for me.
In all honesty I've barely heard of Shania Twain (no relation to Mark, I assume) -- country music isn't my thing. Quite remarkable for an introvert to succeed at such an art, though.
That's why they don't mind marking it down so quickly because the expiration dates can be close, and yes I'm the buyer who would be devouring the discounted candy.(lol) OMG - if pumpkin spice ended up in tea, that would totally be the pits(lol) Hanging my head, I must admit that I'm a lover of oolong and dandelion tea, along with a host of other flavors, and I keep adding to the pile(lol) As a former singer, I pretty much love all kinds of music. Something about it has always relaxed me. Sure hope you're Sunday is relaxing! Hugs, RO
DeleteI've never had Spam (the stuff in a can, that is), but I can't possibly imagine it could be improved with pumpkin spice. That would be a disservice to pumpkin spice, I fear.
ReplyDeleteI'm batting zero today, RO. I've heard of Shania Twain, but never heard her music or seen her perform. I'm a classic rock person who has been told I was born a generation too late, since my tastes run to Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, and others like them.
This contest about dogs almost makes me want to get a dog. But of course, that will never happen now that I have two cats.
You are an angel, so YOU should be honored on Be an Angel Day, dear. People should shower you with gifts, hugs, and love on the 22nd.
I may eat it about once a year, but I'm definitely not trying to add anything to it, other than red pepper.(lol) Your music runs toward the classic great, which is very cool! I felt the same way(lol) then I thought about taking the time to walk an exercise them which they always need and deserve, and I'm staying with cats as a pet if I had a choice. Your words are certainly very kind, but there are people out there doing stuff I only dream of for others, and I have a long way to go. I'll always keep striving though. You're the best and thank you for all that you do! You're a really good friend. Hugs, RO
DeleteThat is a generous giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen pumpkin spice here.
LOVE the concept behind be an angel day.
I hope your birthday month is wonderful, and full of treats and pleasant surprises.
Wow! No pumpkin spice there, EC? Lucky you!(lol) Happy Be Angel Day to you, my friend. Your kindness is appreciated by so many. Hugs, and thanks for the birthday wishes! RO

Have a great weekend, Radiant Ro!
I tired the tomato with tuna, and it was fabulous! I sure wish I could find a job watching Law and Order a zillion times and to be paid for it. I've seen them so much.(lol) Happy Be An Angel Day and hugs! RO
DeleteUmmm, another bunch of interesting stuff here RO. I LOVE me some SPAM...plain old Spam in a Spam "sammich". That's it! Nothing else needed (except some sides). And, definitely NOT Pumpkin spice. What will they think of next?!
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a wonderful Birthday!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Always love when you stop by, and your kindness is so appreciated. Very cool; that you love Spam so much! I don't mind a sandwich maybe once a year, but I could do without the pumpkin spice too.(lol) My birthday was great, and I thank you for the well wishes. Hug and Happy Be An angel Day. RO
DeleteLol I like the canned spam. I want to watch some classic movies.. it's on my bucket list.
ReplyDeleteI'm NOT all in the Pumpkin Spam, Cool Calvin(lol), but I bet it will sell like hotcakes. Love classic movies, and hope you get the chance to check a few out soon. Hugs and Happy Saturday! RO

DeleteAh, well, with tea or music, chacun à son goût -- that's the bottom line. I like a wide range of music but most country just doesn't do much for me.
ReplyDeleteI generally stock up on candy right after Halloween, since it's easy to find it cheap. I'll just need to check that it's pumpkin-spice-free.
[Tried to respond to your comment above, but the "reply" buttons don't work for me.]
Darn you for making me go all the way back to my high school French days so early this morning!(lol) I used to sing in a band a long time ago, and while country music isn't my fave, it's part of the crazy mix that will get me singing or dancing to embarrass my son.(lol) We're kindred spirits when it comes to stocking up on candy after Halloween. I used to get it to give out to kids, but in the neighborhood I live, all of the kids have mysteriously disappeared-lol, so I get the goodies for the house. Ditto on pumpkin spice free please. Sorry you couldn't comment like you do normally in the reply, and hope it's okay now. Happy Monday and Hugs! RO

ReplyDeleteI do like pumpkin spice - but in moderation. I don't need it every single thing lol
Karen @ For What It's Worth
You're quite welcome Kool Karen, and thanks so much for the birthday wishes. I don't like anything related to pumpkins, even pumpkin pie. Something about the taste, so to have it on everything would be too much for sure. Hope your Sunday is amazing! Hugs, RO

DeleteHmmm Bucket list. A couple of years ago I would have said I've done everything I'd like, but I'd like to publish a book (preferably through a traditional publisher). I guess another item would be to go to watch the Olympics in person someday.
ReplyDeleteWow! That would be so cool to see the Olympics in person, and to publish your own novel! I sure hope they both happen for you soon! Thanks so much for stopping by to say hello Brooke and Happy Monday to you! RO
DeleteMy daughter and SIL live in Philly and they ended up buying because renting was getting so salty. Not as bad as SF but bad enough.
ReplyDeleteOh, before I forget. How is your lilac bush/tree doing?
YOU have a great one.
Hugs
LOL! I wish I could say it was thriving, but there's totally NOTHING there, Super Sandra! I told you I have a purple thumb when it comes to plants. What has been doing well would be my onions, sweet basil, mint, green beans and habanero peppers, which has been a complete mystery.(lol) It's crazy how people have to pay such exorbitant prices for a place to live. Happy Tuesday to you! RO
DeleteGlad your veggie and herbs are doing well.
DeleteDon't feel bad about the lilac. It's more of a Midwest plant. I think NC would be a bit hot for it, which is too bad, I'd love to have one. The one I saw for sale was $57! In the Midwest you can almost pluck them off the ground;)
Yet another reason for me to be someplace I can get in more 15 minutes of cold air.(lol) Hugs, RO

ReplyDeleteI would love to work at a place that allowed my doggies. Thing is, my dogs are too terrible. They'd be all over the place and barking at the leaves the drop from the trees. One of my supervisors brings in her "therapy" dog. The dog was in training but over the last few years, the training part got dropped and now she just hangs out which is fine with all of us. We love to love her. So I guess that makes her our office therapy dog. :)
ReplyDeleteElsie
I'll be honest, I'm not much of a pumpkin spice fan. I know a lot of people love it, but I like the actual squash itself. Can't say that I'll be buy pumpkin spiced spam anytime soon. LoL

DeleteToo. Much. Pumpkin Spice. Enough is enough, already. And in Spam? Nope, no thanks. I don't mind an occasional pumpkin spice cookie, or mug of tea, but I think the food industry has gone way overboard with it.
ReplyDeleteI agree Lark. I just can't get into all that pumpkin stuff at all.(lol) Hope you're dong well. Hugs, RO

DeleteHello, my name is RITA CARMEN and I have been trying to get pregnant for over 12 years. i have been looking for ways online for so long, I first did Depo Provera Shot which i consecutively took every three months in order to get pregnant or fertile, but there was no way from it. I did Depo shot for 3 years constantly until my Doctors in Australia told me to try IVF because I had Endometriosis stage 4 and I resulted to try IVF (In Vitro Fertilization). For months after my IVF no progressed and my situation became worse that my husband had already had plans or getting married to another woman because I was barren. I read a testimony about Prophet Abulele how he had helped so many women with pregnancy problems and also how he usually casts return spells to bring back partner and make one fertile. Of all options tried, I gave Prophet Abulele a try. I am now a mother of a baby boy. For over 13 years of my marriage I received my help from this spell caster. I want to impact on someone's life and make the person get help from a good spell caster. Prophet Abulele's email is:- prophetabulelehealingtemple@gmail.com and his WhatsApp is +2349022406159 once you contact him, he will help you fast.
