FUN FRIDAY AND FREEBIES

The watermelons and tomatoes growing out front are amazing!  Every day, things seem to grow bigger and bigger. The mint is awesome, too!

JUST ONE MORE THING

Recently, I've noticed a rash of Facebook Groups popping up that offer to help individuals with rent problems, clothing, food or utility bills. When people in dire need ask for assistance, there was literally NO response from anyone which surprised me.  There are people who are homeless or about to lose power due to the loss of their jobs, domestic violence, layoffs, or cuts in salary.  Many are embarrassed to seek help outside of their own circles yet gather the courage to do so. So, in my opinion, those who take the time and effort to create a page designated to help others...uh, should probably at least respond in some manner. Not doing so, just seems cruel or rude.  Or if their minds were changed about offering assistance, simply delete that page.
