SALTED CARAMEL-CINNAMON POPCORN

Try this simple recipe as a snack for the kids or for Christmas parties.  Also, did you know that you can soothe indigestion with cinnamon? Antimicrobial compounds in this spice neutralizes harmful bacteria that may cause ulcers and indigestion.




1/2 Cup Caramel Sauce, like Mrs. Richardson's
1/4 Tsp Sea Salt
1/4 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
8 Cups Air-Popped Popcorn

Heat your oven to 250 degrees, then coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.  In a microwave safe measuring cup, combine the caramel sauce, sea salt and cinnamon, then microwave for 15 seconds or until melted.  In a large bowl, gently toss the popcorn with the caramel mixture to coat.  Spread the mixture on evenly on the baking sheet, baking for 25 minutes.  Let cool, then break up large pieces for serving.  Try something different by placing the popcorn in individual small baskets or a popcorn box. Enjoy!
