The thing about finding a ton of cards whenever a store closes or moves to another location, is that everyone ends up getting one in the mail for just about any reason, whether they want it or not. (lol) I've managed to collect so many, that I could literally start my own Hallmark store.
Now on the recipe.
If you're thinking about having a party with friends and family, but don't want a lot of fuss, let everyone serve themselves!
The best way to do this, is to have pitcher drinks already in the refrigerator and ready to go.
Try this simple version of Sunny Sparkling Punch and you're all set.
INGREDIENTS
2 2/3 Cups Chilled Pineapple Juice
1 1/3 Cups Chilled Orange Juice
1 1/3 Cups Triple Sec
1 Bottle Prosecco
5 Mint Leaves - feel free to grab a few from my garden-lol
DIRECTIONS
Stir the pineapple juice, orange juice, triple sec and mint leaves, then slowly add in the Prosecco. Refrigerate.
Garnish with pineapple or orange slices for decoration, and you're all set. These ingredients are good for 8 people. If you're having more guests, prepare extra pitchers to keep in the fridge, just in case.
I'll just have orange juice, thanks. I don't drink alcohol at all and pineapple juice isn't all that great to me. lol
ReplyDeleteHey Mary! I'm not a fan of orange juice on its own. It definitely has to be mixed with something else in order for me to drink it. Hugs...
DeleteI don't drink but my sis will definitely dig this recipe.thanks Ro, huggggs!!
ReplyDeleteThe non alcohol version would be to add ginger ale instead, if you like soda. Hugs to you and sis, and hope you both have a wonderful weekend!

DeleteThe 'Serve Yourself' bit is my motto when we have folks over. My husband built a long counter for me near the family room and told me it was for my food and drink lines. LOL! Thanks for sharing your chilled fruit punch recipe.

ReplyDeleteCan we say, right now? (lol) Hugs...
DeleteSounds yummy! In Spain, they make sparkly sangria using Cava, and whatever else they have on hand, and it's always lovely, especially when it's really warm outside. I've started making a few different ones myself, too, just be careful not having too much! Those things are quite deceptive because they're fresh and you can't really taste the alcohol ;)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, Ro!

I know, right? I remember having a Hurricane in New Orleans for the first time and loved it, but before I knew it, I was out like a light! (lol) Totally creeped up on me. Hugs...
