Mtn Dew Kickstart: Puppymonkeybaby | Super Bowl Spot - YouTube

The other commercial that has me scratching my head is from Pepto Bismol. Rubbing your butt and singing to let us know you have bathroom problems is just weird. (lol)

There are indeed some commercials that leave you confused as ever. Some have little or nothing to do with the product being advertised.
ReplyDeleteIt sort of amazes me that people pay big bucks for these ads. (lol)
DeleteYeah the Pepto Bismol commercial is hilarious and does NOT make me want to buy it, but the first one I don't know. Thanks RO
ReplyDeleteThe first time I saw the Pepto commercial I actually had to rewind to make sure I didn't need to clean my glasses, Debbie. (lol) But I did laugh.
DeleteHi RO :) Gosh...we gave up television a long time ago and I have to say I do NOT miss the commercials!!! I remember when the DVR was available, it was like heaven to record my favourite shows and skip all the commercials easily! Now we just download what we want to see or watch online.
ReplyDeleteThe DVR does make it easy to skip right through. However, there have been times that I've seen some good ones. (lol) Hugs...
DeleteSome commercials just make NO sense to me. The first one here is really creepy, I agree! Thankfully I haven't seen it in forever. As for the Pepto Bismol one, it's not THAT bad but still a little weird. haha
ReplyDelete-lauren
I had to rewind twice the first time I saw the Pepto ad because I couldn't believe what I was seeing, but I do have to admit that it made me laugh. (lol) Still not my fave though. Hope you're feeling well.
DeleteHahaha I am familiar with the Puppymonkeybaby one because they actually started showing it as "commercials" online but I'm not familiar with the Pepto one. I'm actually really glad I don't have cable because commercials drive me nuts. LoL
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, Kristin! This puppy thing actually started online first? What in the world? (lol)
DeleteKen was just talking about puppy monkey baby commercial. lol
ReplyDeleteLOL - It just reminds me of a shapeshifting story gone horribly wrong, girl!
DeleteWe don't get either of them. But don't feel jealous - we have some shockers of our own. I am sure I am not alone in saying I can't remember any ad which made me buy a product but can easily think of a few which made me decide to NEVER buy from the company again.
ReplyDeleteLOL - I hear you on that about not buying from a company again. Hugs...
DeleteThank goodness we don't get the puppy baby monkey commercial and as for the Pepto commercial I think it has run its course.
ReplyDeleteI did laugh at the Pepto commercial because I actually couldn't believe it. (lol) The Puppy thing is truly creepy, Jimmy. Someone on here said it was actually on line initially.
DeleteI missed both of those- and I think that's probably a good thing because I agree with you. They sound bizarre, Ro. ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty amazing the things that cause me to react, huh? (lol)
DeleteI have to admit that I use "commercial time" to switch channels and check out what else is on television.
ReplyDeleteLOL - I have to do that sometimes too, Angela, so you're not alone. Hugs...
DeleteAnother reason why I'm glad I skipped the Super Bowl this year. Dang Falcons and their 25 point lead screwup
ReplyDeleteAdam, Adam, Adam - don't get me started on that game and a few others this year. (lol)
DeleteI have not seen those Commercials, than goodness. Your description is enough to make me know it is it not something I would wish to see ☺
ReplyDeleteYou are not missing a thing, Nadene! (lol) Hugs and Happy Monday!
DeleteOMG I haven't seen either of those lately. I must be watching the wrong stuff!
ReplyDeleteI don't think you're missing much at all Steph! (lol)
DeleteThe puppymonkeybaby is pretty creepy.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a great one, Ro.
Not a good look at all, Sandra. It makes me think of shapeshifting gone wrong. (lol) Hugs...
DeleteJust creepy
ReplyDeleteLOL - Agreed! Hugs...and Happy Monday!
DeleteI think I'm good not knowing either of those commercials. lol
ReplyDeleteSome things really have me shaking my head, girl!
DeleteI'm lucky, I guess, because I haven't seen these since the Super Bowl! I also don't watch much tv, so that would definitely help. I just want to know where people get these kinds of ideas and who thinks they're worth investing in? Why is a commercial that makes you uncomfortable a good one?
ReplyDeleteRachel @ Paper Cuts
Girl, don't get me started on the investment! The costs for these ads could feed thousands. I agree. I wonder who the test subjects are, where no one calls a foul on the play. (lol) Happy Wednesday!
DeleteThe Mountain Dew ad has just started appearing on Hulu which I'm less than thrilled about because I can't fast forward! I don't get it all either. And the Pepto Bismol is just so much no!
ReplyDeleteIt's just a shapeshifting nightmare Katherine. (lol) Hugs...

ReplyDeleteI was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
ReplyDeleteliver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
