REESE'S STUFFED BROWNIES

Even if you're trying to lose weight, there's definitely nothing wrong with treating yourself to this gooey snack, when you need a burst of chocolate! Kudos to TasteofLizzyT for this awesome recipe.

BROWNIES
1 Pkg  (18.4 oz) Brownie Mix of your choice
4 Oz. Cream Cheese, at room temperature
1/4 Cup Unsalted Butter, at room temperature

1 Egg
16 Full Size Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Unwrapped & Frozen (Freezing them first is important)

FROSTING
2 Cups Confectioners' Sugar
1 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter of your choice
1/2 Cup unsalted Butter, at room temperature.

DIRECTIONS
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees, then grease your square baking pan.  Beat together the brownie mix, cream cheese, butter and egg until well mixed.

Spread the batter in your baking pan, then press in the frozen Reese's Cups so that the top of each cup is level with the batter. Bake 25-33 minutes or until the toothpick inserted into the brownies comes out clean.

Cool completely.

FROSTING
On medium - low speed, beat the confectioner's sugar, peanut butter, butter and milk until light and fluffy, which is about 3-4 minutes.  Spread over the brownies.  Drizzle chocolate sauce or cocoa candy melts over the frosting.  Let it set, then go for it!

    1. I know, right? (lol) Glad we're both behaving for Lent for just a little while. For me, I'm surprised I've actually lost about 3 pounds. Yay! Hugs...
