I'm not a serious football fan, but I definitely got caught up in all the excitement of the game last night between New England and Seattle. But after those final seconds signalled the end of the game, I was ready for one of my favorite programs - Blacklist. Unfortunately, no one was ready to leave the field and there were endless interviews that went on, causing my show to come on 45 minutes later than expected. Yikes!
The highlights for me during the game - John Legend singing "America,The Beautiful", Idina Menzel performing The "Star Spangled Banner", the sighting of the USAF Thunderbirds flying, Will Ferrell, Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg sitting in the audience, Thomas Davis winning the Walter Payton Award for excellence in the community, and the commercial with Bryant Gumbel and Katie Couric being confused about the use of the Internet 21 years ago. Bad sportsmanship by Seattle wasn't cool at all, by the way, and that final interception at the end of the game wasn't too shabby either.
Now the Superbowl is over, and life is back to normal for most of us. So for me, this is "Moving On" Monday, so on the giveaway listed below.
