1 -inch piece ginger root, peeled
1 large strip lemon rind
6 cups water
1/3 cup honey, or eyeball it
1 lemon, juiced
4 chamomile or other tea bags
Directions
Slice the ginger into coins. Heat the ginger, lemon rind, water and honey to a boil in small pot. Add lemon juice to hot water and transfer to a tea pot. Add tea bags to pot and steep. Remove bags and serve tea.

Sigh. I wish I were into tea. Probably better for me than coffee.

ReplyDeleteThat's actually a great idea, Angela! I tried this when I as feeling under the weather with a cold the other day, but keeping the healthy benefits going in the warm weather by keeping it cold sounds wonderful! Hugs...
