Even though she took a 15 year musical break due to Lyme disease, and the damage of her vocal cords, Canadian born introvert Shania Twain is still the top selling female country music star of all time, and worth a whopping 400 million dollars.  Celine Dion may be the number one selling singer in Canada, but she's followed by none other than the Queen of Country Pop, Shania Twain

  1. Nice giveaway! That chicken stuffed tomato recipe really looks so good! You know, I've never been a fan of Celine, I don't like that chipmunky type of girl singing lol plus she talked badly of the English back in the days when she was only known here in french Quebec so boo on her...Shania though, I liked her stuff! I remember seeing an interview with her years ago and her poor voice...

    1. Thanks Rain! I actually tried the tomato recipe using tuna, and loved it. OMG - you're the only person I know who would admit to NOT liking Celine(lol) As a music fan, I like them both, but in different ways. I remember when Shania's hubby cheated on her years ago with her friend, years ago, and she was pretty devastated. then it was a strange irony that she ended up marrying the husband of the friend who cheated with her hubby! Hope you're doing okay! Hugs, RO

  12. Really, Halloween candy two and a half months before Halloween? Wouldn't candy go bad in that time? Oh, of course, it will be bought in a spirit of virtuous generosity to future trick-or-treaters and then devoured by the buyer in the interim, requiring the purchase of fresh supplies for the holiday itself. Retailers are fiendish.

As to what will next be defiled with pumpkin spice, I fear it may be tea. We already have herbal tea and echinacea tea and lemon tea and oolong tea and dandelion tea and duck-billed platypus tea -- the list of abominations is endless, to say nothing of that radioactive green stuff the Chinese insist is tea. Well, I'm not having any of it. Only proper British tea for me.

In all honesty I've barely heard of Shania Twain (no relation to Mark, I assume) -- country music isn't my thing. Quite remarkable for an introvert to succeed at such an art, though.

    1. That's why they don't mind marking it down so quickly because the expiration dates can be close, and yes I'm the buyer who would be devouring the discounted candy.(lol) OMG - if pumpkin spice ended up in tea, that would totally be the pits(lol) Hanging my head, I must admit that I'm a lover of oolong and dandelion tea, along with a host of other flavors, and I keep adding to the pile(lol) As a former singer, I pretty much love all kinds of music. Something about it has always relaxed me. Sure hope you're Sunday is relaxing! Hugs, RO

  13. I've never had Spam (the stuff in a can, that is), but I can't possibly imagine it could be improved with pumpkin spice. That would be a disservice to pumpkin spice, I fear.

I'm batting zero today, RO. I've heard of Shania Twain, but never heard her music or seen her perform. I'm a classic rock person who has been told I was born a generation too late, since my tastes run to Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, and others like them.

This contest about dogs almost makes me want to get a dog. But of course, that will never happen now that I have two cats.

Your words are certainly very kind, but there are people out there doing stuff I only dream of for others, and I have a long way to go. I'll always keep striving though. 48. I would love to work at a place that allowed my doggies. Thing is, my dogs are too terrible. They'd be all over the place and barking at the leaves the drop from the trees. One of my supervisors brings in her "therapy" dog. The dog was in training but over the last few years, the training part got dropped and now she just hangs out which is fine with all of us. We love to love her. So I guess that makes her our office therapy dog. :)

  49. I'll be honest, I'm not much of a pumpkin spice fan. I know a lot of people love it, but I like the actual squash itself. Can't say that I'll be buy pumpkin spiced spam anytime soon. LoL

  52. Too. Much. Pumpkin Spice. Enough is enough, already. And in Spam? Nope, no thanks. I don't mind an occasional pumpkin spice cookie, or mug of tea, but I think the food industry has gone way overboard with it.

  59. Hello, my name is RITA CARMEN and I have been trying to get pregnant for over 12 years. i have been looking for ways online for so long, I first did Depo Provera Shot which i consecutively took every three months in order to get pregnant or fertile, but there was no way from it. I did Depo shot for 3 years constantly until my Doctors in Australia told me to try IVF because I had Endometriosis stage 4 and I resulted to try IVF (In Vitro Fertilization). For months after my IVF no progressed and my situation became worse that my husband had already had plans or getting married to another woman because I was barren. I read a testimony about Prophet Abulele how he had helped so many women with pregnancy problems and also how he usually casts return spells to bring back partner and make one fertile. Of all options tried, I gave Prophet Abulele a try. I am now a mother of a baby boy. For over 13 years of my marriage I received my help from this spell caster. I want to impact on someone's life and make the person get help from a good spell caster. Prophet Abulele's email is:- prophetabulelehealingtemple@gmail.com and his WhatsApp is +2349022406159 once you contact him, he will help you fast.
