When looking for new books in the store, on-line or in the library, my initial reaction is to notice the title, then the cover. After that, I'll check out the name of the author, the blurb and reviews. I also pay attention to the reviews and opinions of other bloggers who specialize in a specific genre
Sometimes this process works well, but I've run across a few clunkers occasionally.
I've found that many books with less than desireable covers are actually fantastic reads, or sometimes the blurb may not convey the entire story.
Anywho, how do you choose your books? Are you naturally drawn to the cover? Have you ever run across a book that you enjoyed and it had no cover at all? Does it matter?
