DO YOU INCLUDE FRIENDS & FAMILY IN YOUR BLOG POSTS?

The thing about blogging is that someone in your family will eventually end up being the topic of discussion whether they want to be or not. (lol)  Despite his requests and demands to not be included, my son will occasionally show up to make an appearance, but I try to keep it to a minimum so he won't stop taking my calls.  Luckily, my granddaughter is still too young to know what's being said about her, but I might be in trouble in a few years. *heh*

My husband, on the other hand, wants his picture and comments on display for all the world to see, but this shouldn't surprise you if you read my Selfie post a few months back. He also is embarrassed by by very little, unlike me.

Anywho, I mention this because my son asked the other day, "Mom, where do you get all that stuff you write about, and is anybody even reading it?" Uh...ok. Thanks for the kudos, my wonderful son. (lol)

We've all run into this topic at least on one occasion, but it came up once again and made me laugh. For some reason that I'll never understand, men have a desire to name their penises, and some of them are downright crazy. May may say that we women do the naming, but I'm not buying that.  Channing Tatum calls his "Gilbert", Hugh Jackman - "Old James Roger", and Ludacris calls his, "The Truth". Don't laugh, but my husband's pet name is "George".  You know, from George of the Jungle. (lol)  Even worse, I find myself caught up and using it too because it's so hilarious.  What in the heck is wrong with me? (lol)

I don't know of any female friends or family who call their private parts anything special, but if so they're keeping it very hush, hush.

What about you. Do you know any women who are giving cute names to their lady parts?  Have any of your friends and family ended up in your blogs because of something funny or silly?

  1. LOL oh that's too funny. I was just reading about him calling it Gilbert in an author's post. Lordy be. No special names here but I do chuckle (or cringe) over what some people pick. lol

I so missed your pics of the hubby from a while back!

I don't include family/friends too often but every once in a while. I do tell silly things about my mom over on FB (conversations we've had) or when she sends me a care package. But other than that I don't very often.

    1. Ironically, hubby posts selfie pics all over the place, but I don't ever actually share them on my blogs. Can we say, Overexposure? (lol) He may get a mention every now and then, but that's it on my end (lol) I've missed stories of your mom and care packages, but they sound like fun. Big Hugs...

  2. Bwahaha! I think it's hilarious men name their junk because they act like its a seperate entity from themselves. Very funny. I don't know any women who name their lady bits, but I think that's because women generally arent as comfortable with their bodies as men.

I'll mention family or friends but I don't show pics of them, kinda my rule:) I think my family would be pretty peeved if I started showing them to the world. LOL

    1. I know, right? What in the world? (lol) I don't know any women who name that part either. I'm with you on that. I'll discuss them, but don't share pics about them. However, hubby would prefer I shared pics(lol), but it's a no go. My son would kill me for sure! Hugs...and happy early birthday!

  3. I don't *think* I have any friends who have named their privates, and that includes my husband... In some books I've read, women had named their breasts, but I don't know if that's something that happens, since it's not something I've heard of in real life.

I do discuss my kids and my hubby every now and then, but without using their names. And If I share a picture of them, it's after making sure they agree that I post it online...

  4. The only body part that I've ever named are my boobs. I call them, the girls. LOL My hubby finds it funny.

I do write about my family at times. I wrote about my daughter turning 21 a few years ago and when my mom passed away I wrote about her 4 years ago. When I stopped talking to my half brother and he started stalking me I wrote an open letter to my stalker. lol He stopped after that.
