7 REASONS NOT TO WATCH "SAY YES TO THE DRESS"

Say Yes to the Dress from TLC is celebrating 10 years of dressing joy, crazy mishaps and happy endings, and yep, I've been binge watching.  It's hard to believe that the first show came on in October 2007.This is one of those programs that will hook you in before you know it!  I mean, what else are you going to do on Saturday nights, right?

1.  You're gonna blubber like a baby before the show is over.

2.  Watching will make you think of renewing your wedding vows as an excuse to buy a new gown.

3.  You'll  break open your Piggy Bank to travel to their Annual Blowout Sale, just because.

4.  Someone in the entourage is going to piss you off. (lol)

5.  Watching repeats is not out of the question.

6.  You'll start comparing yourself to the brides on television, knowing that you can wear it better. (lol)

7.  Randy Fenoli will become your new best friend.

TAKING STEPS EACH DAY
Did you know that 1000 steps is the equivalent of 1 mile?  If you want to keep track without a whole lot of extra gadgets, StepzApp.com is a good one to add to your phone.

TWISTER
If you've ever played Twister as a kid, you probably ended up in a few compromising positions.

You can find the game in Walmart for about $19.  I even came across a large inflatable one online for about $2,000! I got lucky and found one at a yard sale for $1.00, and because I'm a brave soul, I actually managed to wrangle up a few friends to play the game the other day.

The next day, I had no idea that my body had so many hidden places that could ache.  I felt like I had completed a yoga, pilates and aerobics class all in 3 minutes, because that's about how long I lasted in that dang game. (lol) And, NO, I was not the last person left standing.  What about you?  Are you up for a game of Twister?

    1. I know, right? It seems like they would have a lot of the same scenarios, but they're all pretty unique and fun to watch.

    1. Girl, I looked like a nightmare and couldn't stop laughing, but the next day, I could barely get out of bed. It was definitely some good yoga moments. (lol)

  6. I'm walking 10,000 steps a day and my Fitbit says it's only 5 miles. I'm being gypped!!! But I can't say I've ever watched that dress show. It probably would make me glad I never have to plan a wedding again!

  7. I had no idea the show was ten years going. I've watched a few so had to laugh at your list.

Twister. I never did well at that game. Haha! I think I'd do serious damage to myself trying it now. Neat way to get people moving so I'm all for it.

    1. It's pretty amazing they can keep everyone's interest year after year, but it's always a lot going on, and I love the people. Twister is super fun, but I'm not sure I'd try it again either. Dangerous(lol)

  8. You know for some reason I've never really watched that show. I love pretty shoes and clothes but I just don't understand the whole wedding dress thing so it never appealed to me. Sounds fun though and like I should give it a try!

    1. I can't understand my obsession either, Katherine! (lol) I think it must be the interaction with all those people and how they react. Hugs...

  9. Ro, I will have to skip Twister, lol... I am positive if I could get down, I couldn't get back up... lol... Maybe once I get healthier and work more on my yoga, I might attempt it... haha

I have watched a few of the shows but I made myself stop watching it as I am trying so hard to stop watching mindless TV... so hard for me when I want to relax... I think I need to pick a book up, that might help relax me more :-)

Have a great week xox <3

    1. Hey Launna! Like you, I was pretty sure I wouldn't be able to get back up and boy, did I pay for my courage the next day. (lol) I think I'm done with that! I need to keep working on fleshing out my business, so I totally agree with you on not watching as much tv these days. Hugs...
