TEA TREE SHAMPOO & TIPPING FOR BEAUTY

I always get a kick out of trying new things, so when given this product in exchange for an honest review, I was definitely on board.

NATURAL TEA TREE OIL SHAMPOO from Maple Holistics is cruelty free, paraben -free and gluten free, has therapeutic benefits that improves hair and scalp health, and helps prevent flaking and dandruff.

My hair is very thick and curly, but it tends to be dry, so I wondered if  this would work better than name brand shampoos.

I'm a big scent person, so the first thing I noticed right away was the smell of lavender and rosemary, which I loved.  The instructions tell you to massage a quarter sized amount throughout the scalp, but I promise that a dime sized amount of this shampoo created this luscious lather that made me feel as if I was in a high-end salon.  The experience was so surprising and luxurious that I just wanted to hang out in the shower for a few hours.

I did finally get out and dried my hair.  The best way to describe it would be - moisturizing magic! My scalp didn't feel dry, and the curls were bouncy and soft.  To get that effect normally, I typically add hair lotion, which I didn't have to do.  YAY!

If you'd like to try this for yourself, they have a sale going on here at tea tree shampoo .  But if you'd like to check out other products they have, here are some free samples .

WHAT DO YOU THINK?
If you remember, National Cheeseburger Day was Monday, September 18, so some friends dropped off a few burgers for my enjoyment.  One friend that I've known for about 13 years or so, decided to take me out to Cookout to choose what I wanted.  I've been trying to stay away from fast food, but hey, I wasn't going to complain about all that yummy goodness, right?

The woman at the window taking the order was absolutely gorgeous, and her smile was infectious.  So much so, that when the food arrived, my friend tipped her $7.00 on a $12.00 tab.  I watched the shock on her face as she told him that no one had ever given her a tip.  Of course, once he left the window, I had to ask why he tipped her so generously.  Imagine my surprise when he responded, "she was really pretty, and I could tell she needed the money". Huh?

Some people get into blogging for profit, but it's not that easy to make money.  There are some that make thousands of dollars a month, most you've probably never ever heard of.

But #1 on the list, according to Forbes, is a site that's very familiar to everyone.  They are so popular, that The Huffington Post earns $14 million dollars a month!

Have a relaxing day!

  1. Fourteen million a month, WOW Blogging for profit works I suppose, it's a good thing I haven't tried to make any money because I'd sure be disappointed, but for me the friends I have made are worth a whole lot more.

I really like what your friend did when he gave that woman a tip, that was a very nice thing for him to do.

    1. There are so many blogs out there making cash, but as you mention, sometimes it takes a lot of work. I think you're right that the friends we meet are definitely more worth it overall. Hugs...and Happy Saturday!

  2. How nice of your friend to take you out for a cheeseburger. And I liked that he tipped the server (while being a tad confused about his reasons).
That shampoo sounds good. I avoid product whenever I can. My hair is decidedly wash and wear.
Blogging for profit? Way too much work for me.

    1. I love that he tipped her, but I was iffy with his reasoning for sure. There is a lot of work in making that kind of money, for sure. Happy Saturday! Hugs...

  3. I ordered a free sample of that tea tree oil shampoo. I just hope they don't scam me or send off an infected e-mail (grin).

I think that was a wonderful thing your friend did. And I suspect there was some psychological observance behind it, too.

Tuesday I visited a blog that showed a new magazine put out by Ree Drummond, of "The Pioneer Woman" fame. I made the comment about her now having her own magazine (along with a tv show) and how her fame originally started from having a blog. Ironic that you should include Huffington, because I go there at least twice a month. I don't even have a tip jar on my blog. Just think what I could make if I charged for my tutorials and such (grin).

    1. Yay! I sure hope you love it! I thought it was great that he tipped, but the reason behind it was a little iffy. (lol) I adore Ree Drummond. She's so talented and seems to have a great personality. It's amazing to me how many people have become famous from doing something they love like blogging. Hmmm...that tip jar sounds promising. (lol) Happy Saturday!

  4. I will have to investigate that shampoo. I've got course, wiry hair that needs moisterizing to keep the wild away.

    LOL, fun hamburger day story.

Whew! That's a lot of moola for a blog, but yes, most everyone has visited.

Have a great day, Radiant Ro!

  7. Thank you so much for stopping by, and for the picture of Peter Falk. The crainiotomy sucked so much knowledge from me, but Peter Falk was so easy to look up. The Princess Bride. Sigh. Have a great day.

  8. 14 million dollars a month? Sweet! I'm actually going to check out that shampoo because I have straight hair but it tends to be frizzy so I have to add oil to it. Thanks for the tip!

  10. I need to try that shampoo! I have really thick hair and I swear it gets resistant to a certain shampoo after awhile so I have to switch it up. Plus, who can resist a shampoo that smells good! That's so funny about the tip. I bet it made her day! 14 mil a month? We've got some earnings to catch up on!

  14. I’ve heard that Tea Tree shampoo is great for your hair. I have yet to try this product but now I really want to. Thank you so much for your honest review. I love over tipping people when I can. I used to be a waitress and it’s a hard life working for tips.

    1. I really liked it Mary. I thought it was awesome that he tipped the young lady so well, because it's rough to work for tips, but this is a guy who never tips anyone, so to tip her for how she looked versus the service was just a surprise to me and funny! (lol)

  15. I remember back in the 90s, taking a computer class where the teacher was into oils. She even took some of us to a holistic store on our lunch break one day. She LOVED tea tree oil. I asked her which oil I could sprinkle on my manuscript before mailing it to an editor to increase my chances and she picked one out for me. It didn't work...probably offended the editor because she thought it was perfume!

I guess since I don't do anything on my blog to create money...I am not going to get any money! Heck... I don't even have that many people visit my blog ;)

  19. I also find scent important when it comes to shampoo and soaps, so good to know this one smelled nice. It sounds like it worked great for your hair. It can be so challenging to find the right shampoo for your hair.

That's nice your friend gave that women such a generous tip. I hope you had a good dinner!

  22. My name is DOROTHY LISA, I want to share a great testimony on this website on how great a man called Prophet Abulele helped me in getting pregnant, me and my husband have been trying to have a baby for over 12 years, but they were no luck so we decided to contact the family doctor and after all the test have been done, he said to us that my Fallopian tube is not functioning. then one day I was in the office when a friend of mine who had the same problem with me, got her baby after she contacted Prophet Abulele. she directed me to him and when I contacted him through his email: prophetabulelehealingtemple@gmail.com and he prayed for me and sent me an herbal medicine, which I took for few days and in 3 weeks’ time, as he told me, i was feeling somehow and I went to meet the family doctor who told me that I am pregnant. if you know that you have a similar problem like this, or any fertility issue and you want to be pregnant you can contact Prophet Abulele: prophetabulelehealingtemple@gmail.com OR WhatsApp him on +2349022406159

  23. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
