TOO MUCH STUFF TUESDAY

Colorful & Fun Hat
Yes, I wear it...
Last week, Anna over at  www.herdingcats-burningsoup.com decided to blog about some of the things she's picked up over the years, and her collection is totally fun and unique!

Her idea was so brilliant that I had to steal it. (lol) Thanks, Anna!

Anyhoo. Despite having an addictive love of books, other things grab my attention, causing me to occasionally have too much stuff.  But dang it, I'm having a good time!

I'm now also hopelessly hooked on Gourmet Chocolate Almonds from the All Chocolate Kitchen, sent to me by the very wonderful Kelly M.  Those almonds are sooooo good, that I can't seem to put them down, and neither can hubby!
Yes, that one glass is what you think it is! (lol)
A portion of my large, and
sometimes unusual shot glass collection.

Even in the Kitchen, Shoes Rule...

Refurbished Barbies with new clothing
Love making them

include the original Furby from the 1999
McDonald's Happy Meal Collection.
There are a total of 80 in this series.

  1. I love your collection of shots - yes, including that one ! I'm not much of a collector myself. On the other hand, I'm trying hard to declutter, so apart from books, books and more books... Maybe some stones : crystal, lapis-lazuli and a few others, they're pretty and shiny :)

    1. I have a friend like that who collects absolutely NOTHING (lol) She can't stand anything extra in the house. I love the idea of your stones, and hope you take pics for your blog one day soon. Hugs...Ro

    1. Furbies rule! (lol) My Barbie collection is massive, and something I've done for the past 30 years. Of course we're on the same page with books (lol) Would love to see your sunhats. That sounds totally neat! Hugs...

    1. The irony is that while I collect shot glasses, very rarely do I actually get them on my own, EXCEPT for that one, which I found at a yard sale. (lol) The rest have been given as gifts, and I have over 300. Hope to see your collection one day soon, too. Hugs...

    1. I know, right? It's just something about those things that make me smile. Did you just get tired of collecting dolphins, or were you just downsizing? Dolphins are truly amazing. Hugs...

  5. Love the pictures of your collections. I used to collect stamps, then it was unicorns, and now books. I sold my stamp collection and gave away most of the unicorns but kept a few of them.

    1. Thanks Mary. I wish I could say that was everything, but there are tons more in addition to all my books. Yikes! I've never met a stamp collector before, and can imagine that must have been a neat hobby. I've seen a few crystal unicorns and some toys, and would love if you posted some pics for us to see. hugs...

  6. Fun read, I am currently trying to complete my Animorphs collection from when I was a kid but I wouldn't mind adding that Marge Simpson doll to my memorabilia wall as well!

    1. Wow! That sounds totally fun to complete your collection. My Simpson collection is pretty large and includes all the figures from Burger King. I don't watch the show any longer, but something about the toys just seems neat. Thanks for the kudos and hope your Friday is wonderful! Hugs...

    1. *giggle* - Loved finding that glass at a fleamarket one Saturday, but I've got a long way to go to catch up with your candles. (lol) I like unusual teapots, and shoes are my other passion. Kitchen is red, white and black, so that decoration worked well. Hugs...

  8. Not being nosy, but I noticed your posts are duplicate, the one (like this) is complete, then there's another one that's cut or was published by accident?

Anyway, collection. Mine is primarily books, I got a few tubs here and another batch back in the Philippines! I'm sentimental though and next to that would be photos.

I love that teapot and that penis glass is so novel!

    1. OMG - thanks for letting me know. I'll check into that. I had fun finding that at a yard sale, and I like unusual teapots. Like you, the TBR pile and book collection is pretty large. Great to collect photos because they signify pleasant memories. Hugs...Ro
