Volunteer

A great way to give back when you're low on cash is to volunteer your time or expertise to those in need.

If you enjoy working with the elderly and would like to visit, look for senior centers near you at www.eldercaredirectory.com.  Bring along the kids to make it a family adventure.

Spend some time in soup kitchens or in homeless shelters to help with meals throughout the day. This is also a fantastic opportunity to include the rest of the family.  To find shelters, check out www.nationalhomeless.org.
